Perth is home to some of the best beaches in the world. And is there anything better than spending the day at the beach? Of course not! When I was little I always dreamed of growing up next to the beach and I still can't believe that I lived so close to the beach in Perth and that I was able to go there whenever I wanted. The ocean always gives me the feeling that everything's alright and everything will fall into place eventually. It gives me a sense of calm and clarity. Looking into the wideness of the ocean always leaves me speechless and running into the cold water is an incredible feeling of freedom and purity. So for me it does make sense that the people who're living next to the beach are happier, kindlier and more relaxed. I just love the ocean and Perth has got incredible beaches to spend all day every day at.

After spending 2 years in Australia I finally made it to Queensland. Most of the 2 years I spent in WA and NSW, I've also been to SA and Victoria. Now it's only the NT and Tasmania I need to visit! (+ I also need to go up north in Queensland!) Queensland is amazing, there's so much to see and to discover you'll never get bored. Even though it was wet season we were always busy discovering the nature, towns and cities of this beautiful state. There was a thunderstorm every now and then, but it still remained warm. My sister and I made a little roadtrip in the southern part of Queensland until Byron Bay, which is in NSW and spent a typical Australian Christmas on the Sunshine Coast.
